Please read this notice carefully to assure that you follow the
required procedures to give yourself the best chance of securing a spot in the
Saltaire Terminal.
The fee for the 2011 annual parking pass is $607.96. The total fee with the applicable sales tax is $660.40.
Permit holders from
last year will be guaranteed a spot in the Saltaire lot if their application is
received by February 1, 2011. Any parking spots
available after February 1 will be allocated to homeowners on a first come
first served basis. In order for the Village to have complete control over this
process, the entire application must be submitted to the Village office. We
will then resubmit the entire application to the operator of the lot, Fire
Island Terminal, assigning spots according to the above priority. The check must still be made out to Fire
Island Terminal.
Therefore,
the completed application, together with a photocopy of your vehicle
registration, and your check for $660.40 payable to

There are 245 permits available for Saltaire residents. We hope that we
can accommodate all requests with this number of spaces, but there is no
guarantee. Permits are limited to one per household.
Please remember to mail the applications
directly to the Village Office, and make the check payable to Fire Island
